Despite the Steelers and Giants scoring points on Monday Night, no one challenged Steve Berry, who posted a 359 to win Week 8. Steve‘s winning team featured L. Jackson, Purdy, Henry, Achane, R. Stevenson, Lamb, Diggs, Kittle and the Broncos D.

Kerry (338) was this week’s runner up, thanks to a lineup led by L. Jackson, Purdy, Henry, Mixon, McLaurin, Kittle Seibert and the Chiefs D.

This is Steve Berry‘s first weekly win since Week 2 of the 2022 campaign, when he was a rookie owner, and gives him bragging rights over his peers at Carroll Community College this week. Kerry‘s strong showing is her third pay day in eight weeks, as our former league champ has been the epitome of consistency in 2024. Congrats to Steve and Kerry on their strong performances.

The Rookie Report:
Chad is the toast of the rookie owners in Week 8, scoring a 335, which was good for third overall, edging Beth by a mere two points. This is Chad‘s third win among the new owners this season.

Well, Week 7 came down to the two MNF games before crowning a weekly winner. Mr. Eames, who sent in his picks from Japan this week, edged Ravi by five points to claim the Week 7 bragging rights.

Mr. Eames posted a 380 with a lineup featuring L. Jackson, K. Williams, B. Robinson, Hunt, Chase, London, B. Thomas Jr., Bowers, Seibert and the Bengals D.

Ravi continued his strong 2024 campaign, scoring a 375 thanks to a roster led by L. Jackson, Barkley, Mixon, Jav. Williams, Bigsby, Chase, McLaurin, Kittle and the Broncos D.

This is Mr. Eames first win since Week 5 a year ago, and Ravi‘s second pay day of the 2024 season. Congrats to both on a strong showing in Week 7.

Mr. Eames would also expect me to tell the entire league that his Yankees are into the World Series for the first time since 2009, where they will meet SteveB’s Dodgers. Good luck gentleman.

One final mention on the international theme for this week’s results. Jack just spent a week in Sicily, and also had one of his best weeks of the season, so maybe there is something to be said for leaving the country.

The Rookie Report:
Rose (305) picked up another weekly win among the rookie owners, not to mention a Top 20 finish. Congrats Rose on another strong week.

In his sophomore season, Ernesto scores a 402 to win his first weekly win ever. Ernesto‘s breakthrough week was powered by Love, Purdy, Dobbins, Pollard, Harris, Allgeier, Diggs, Flowers, Kittle, Aubrey and the Steelers D.

Another member of the Class of 2023 was our runner up, as Zach scored a 368, thanks to a lineup led by J. Allen, Purdy, B. Hall, Robinson, Harris, Lamb, Higgins, McBride, Tucker and the Steelers D.

Zach was able to edge out Brenda (367) for second place by one point.

As mentioned above, this is Ernesto‘s first ever weekly win after 24 weeks competing in the league, and coincidentally, Zach‘s first pay day in his second season in the league. Congrats to both sophomores on their strong Week 6 showing.

In the first weekend of October, defending champ TroyA wins his first week of the season with a 361, thanks to a lineup led by L. Jackson, Walker, Chase, Kraft, Fairbairn and the Broncos D.

SteveB rode a Monday night surge into second place with a 350, thanks to a roster featuring Conner, Hunt, Sermon, Chase, McLaurin, D. Moore, Bowers, and Tucker. SteveB edged Ravi (347) by three points.

This is TroyA‘s first weekly win since Week 16 last season, and SteveB’s first pay day since Week 12 a year ago. Congrats to TroyA and SteveB on their strong Week 5 showing.

Two owners failed to clear the Mendoza line in Week 5.

Week 4 came down to the wire, but Jared Goff’s scintillating night on MNF delivered victory to Luc, who edged Andrew.

Luc posted a 356, thanks to a lineup led by Mahomes, Goff, Mason, Jefferson, Kelce, Aubrey, Worthy and the 49ers D. He also got help from Charbonnet and Smith-Njigba Monday night.

Andrew held onto second with a 344, thanks to a Week 4 lineup featuring Daniels, K. Williams, Robinson, B. (WAS), Mason, Lamb, D. Johnson, and the 49ers D.

This is Luc‘s first weekly win since Week 13 a year ago, and Andrew‘s first pay day since Week 6 last year. Congrats to Luc and Andrew on their strong showings in Week 4.

The Rookie Report:
