The NFL kicks off its season Thursday night with Dallas at Philadelphia.
That’s also the kickoff of our 2025 season.

Scoring Change for Kickers:
For the 2025, I am revising the scoring for field goals based on length.
NFL kickers have gotten way too accurate, so in an effort to keep individual scores from being astronomical, I am revising downward how much long field goals are worth.
I haven’t updated these online yet, but here is the new scoring breakdown for FGs in 2025:
1. All made FGs are worth 3 points.
2. Field goals over 35 yards earn additional points, based on the following:
FGs 35 yds and under = 0 additional points
36-40 yd FGs = 2 points
41-45 yd FGs = 4 points
46-50 yd FGs = 6 points
51-55 yd FGs = 8 points
56-60 yd FGs = 10 points
61+ yd FGs = 15 points
I’m debating adding a FGs over 66 yards (which would set an NFL record) = 20 points, but that is not in the rules as of now.
The first Play List for 2025 is posted below and also on the Play List page.
I’m traveling this weekend, so I hope I didn’t make any boneheaded mistakes with this list. I reserve the right to modify the play list in the event that a player is cut or goes down injured between now and their first game of the season.
Owners:
We have 31 owners back for the 2025 campaign. I’m still waiting to hear from a few owners, including our defending champ, so I’m hoping that number will grow to 35.
