Hi All:
One week from today, the NFL kicks off with its first full Sunday of action.
Which means, JohnK’s Fantasy Football is also right around the corner.
Attached is the first play list for 2026.
(I reserve the right to tweak the play list between now and kickoff of the Patriots/Seahawks game in the event of a last-minute injury or roster development.)
Speaking of which, Josh Jacobs is on the commissioner’s exempt list. If he is reinstated during the first four weeks of the NFL season, I’ll place him in Box C.
Owners:
There are still a handful of owners from last season I have not heard from, but as of right now, I have a firm commitment from 32 owners. I’d love to see that number reach 35, because then we’d add a seventh pay out position for the season.
If you know of any friends or family who might like to play, please invite them.
Welcome New Owners:
I’d like to welcome Tao Peng to our league, and welcome back Greg and Stacey Kratz who are returning after a very long absence. I’ve been in contact with a few other folks who might be joining, and hope to introduce them soon.
Housekeeping:
1. Entry Fee
Entry for the league is $40.
That covers your Week 1 lineup and first 50 trades of the season.
Thanks to all the owners who have already sent payment (about half). That’s a great start.
For those of you who would prefer to pay another way, send me an email and I can provide address for cash/check or other arrangements. Thanks.
2. LineUps:
Now that you have the playlist, you can send in your Week 1 lineup anytime between now and 11 a.m. CT/10 a.m. MT next Sunday (Sept. 13)
3. Wednesday and Thursday Night Games:
The league will kick off Wednesday night, with New England at Seattle.
Then it will play another game Thursday night with San Francisco at the LA Rams.
If you want to play any Patriots, Seahawks, 49ers or Rams, please get those picks into me ahead of kickoff of those respective games.
4. Play List 1 (for Weeks 1-4)
