Week 1 of the NFL season is in the books, and for most of us, it looks like we could have used a preseason. But not Michael. His team scored 354 and won the week going away, thanks to a lineup featuring L. Jackson, Newton, Jacobs, Mostert, Godwin, Andrews, Koo and the Ravens D.
Heather was another one of the few owners to exceed 300 points. Her roster scored 313, led by Mahomes, Newton, McCaffery, Hunt, Ridley, M. Brown, Kelce and the Patriots D.
Congrats to Michael on his first weekly win since Week 12 of 2018, and Heather‘s first pay day since Week 10 of last season.
I had one owner suggest that we should spotlight lowest scores of the week, but I think most of us would like to forget about Week 1. Just another reminder that everything changes quickly in the NFL.
Reminder: Overall standings will debut in Week 4.

The Extremes:
Highest scoring player: Davante Adams (65)
Lowest scoring player: Ka’imi Fairbairn (1) *
* Stephen Gostkowski was flirting with a minus 2 (-2) until he hit the game-winning FG in the waning seconds of the MNF game.

Housekeeping:
We have 28 owners so far. If you know someone who might like to play, it’s not too late to invite them.
Thanks to everyone who has sent payment already. I’m waiting on payment from eight owners. $30 covers your initial lineup and first 50 trades.
Looking Ahead:
That’s it for Week 1. Please double check my work and let me know if you see any scoring errors. It’s been a long off season and this MNF double header always makes it a late night.
Week 2 kicks off Thursday with Cincinnati Bengals at Cleveland Browns
Stay safe and well.
Good luck to all in Week 2.
