Eric Eclipses Weak Week 4 Field

They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and for Eric, he was able to see past the popular choices and find an outstanding lineup in Week 4. Eric scored a 387, thanks to a lineup featuring J. Allen, Fitzpatrick, Kamara, M. Davis, J. Robinson, Cooper, R. Anderson, Kittle and Carlson.

Michael posted a 347 to take second, thanks to a roster led by Murray, Fitzpatrick, Cook, Gordon, K. Hunt, R. Anderson, Andrews, and Sanders.

This is Eric‘s first weekly win since Week 17 of last season, and Michael‘s second payday of the young season. Congrats to Eric and Michael on strong showings in Week 4.

Our Week 4 leaderboard also featured several former league champs RandyH (’98/’17), CraigS (’01) and Mike (’04/’06), topping the 300 point mark, along with rookie owner Liam. Nice job gentlemen.

The Leaderboard:
Week 4 features the debut of the overall season standings for 2020. As a reminder, we toss out the highest score and two lowest score, and take the average of the other 14 weeks of the season.

Former league champ Major (’16) debuts atop the leaderboard for 2020.

Major (403)
Eric (370)
JohnK (360)
Andrew (355)
Trent (355)
Michael, Heather, Jack, Liam and CarlP round out the Top 10. With 13 weeks to go, there is plenty of time for these names and spots to change.

Housekeeping:

We have 29 owners so far. If you know someone who might like to play, it’s not too late to invite them, and with 30 owners we would add one more pay out spot.

Thanks to everyone who has sent payment already. I’m waiting on payment from four owners. $30 covers your initial lineup and first 50 trades.

Thanks to Nigel and JohnS for sending payment this week.

New Playlist for Weeks 5-9

Week 5 ushers in a new playlist. Just a reminder that you are not charged a trade for any moves forced by a player changing box assignments.

Please note in Box C, I reserve the right to reinstate Nick Chubb or Austin Ekeler if they recover from their injuries prior to Week 10.

Looking Ahead:

Well, despite the COVID-19 disruption, we survived Week 4. Please double check my work and let me know if you see any scoring errors.

Week 5 kicks off Thursday with Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Chicago Bears

Bye Week: Green Bay/Detroit

Stay safe and well.

Good luck to all in Week 5.
