Welcome back to another fantasy football season. Who would have predicted how so much would change since last February when the Chiefs edged the 49ers to win Super Bowl LIV?
So with no preseason and no certainty about what to predict for the 2020 NFL season, we’ll go ahead and attempt to have a fantasy football season.
The NFL is expected to kick off on Thurs. Sept. 10 with the Houston Texans at the Kansas City Chiefs. That’s also the first night of our league.
I’ll have the first playlist of 2020 ready to go by Monday, Sept. 7, and you can submit your Week 1 lineup any time after that.
The fee to play will be $30 again this year. You send payment via cash, check or Venmo or PayPal.
Most of you already are familiar with the rules, but for new owners, I’ll be happy to provide more details. You can find the rules and scoring information on the site.
We should have at least 23 owners for this season, but feel free to invite others.
Good luck to all. Let’s stay safe and healthy, and hopefully, have some fun.
On the final week of the 2019 season, Eric was able to navigate the unpredictable nature of Week 17 and score a 418, thanks to a lineup led by Winston, Tannehill, McCaffery, Boone, Perriman, AJ Brown, Higbee, Tucker and the Ravens D.
Our runnerup was Mr. Eames, who posted a 407, with a lineup featuring Prescott, Tannehill, McCaffery, Mixon, Drake, Adams, Woods, Brown and Higbee.
This was Erics‘s second weekly win of the year, and Mr. Eames‘ fourth pay day this season. Congrats to Eric and Mr. Eames on the strong showings in Week 17.
The Leader Board:
Every year I suggest it is going to be a tight finish, but this year takes the cake. Not only did we have the smallest margin of victory ever (four points) but third and fourth place came down to a tie breaker of who had the larger high score.
In the end, TroyA holds on to the title , edging Jack by a mere four points. Mr. Eames edges Heather for third based on high scores, and Trent takes fifth, just ahead of his dad Tommy. Congrats to all the winning owners, especially Heather, who finishes in the overall money spots for the first time after three seasons.
This is TroyA‘s eighth league title since 2002, and his second in a row. Congrats on your back-to-back championships.
